Any way to volunteer at animal sanctuary, dogtown?

I want to know if dogtown has a system in which people stay there for a week or so, caring animals and learning how to treat them properly for a summer break. By the way, Im talking about the dogtown that had been on the National Geographic Channel. Something similar like that.
