It seems the government is becoming more and more in control over peoples personal lives?

in america we are under the microscope it seems because more and moreof our constitutional rights are taken away. if it was really for a good cause i would understand but it seems that we can not walk or talk without being labeled as a trouble maker if we donot support what seems like stupid stuff to me. does anyone feel the same way or am i just getting to be an old fogey?
