Money saving question can you swap?

Hi this might seem like a silly question I was wondering if it would make much difference if you swapped a a chicken fillet for turkey steak fillets in thinks like curry and chicken stew etc! its just we're finding things hard financially tough at the minute and in my local super market its E1.99 per chicken fillet and you get two big turkey fillets for 3.95 and this makes more sense would you need do anything different to the fillet before cooking?
