If i understood right it's only been six months. Give him time. continue to "hang out". Your basically dating him, he might not want to call it that, so let him call it what ever it is that's comfortable to him. If he's with you all the time, helps w/bills, sleeps w/only you, then don't rush the marriage, or anything else. You two sound good together, leave it be. When he's ready he'll let you know.
