English homework help: short story plot ideas?

You could have a plot in the future where society is slowly falling apart and people are just running wild due to a lack of fear of consequences. I'm not sure if you need to have green eyes and the piggy bank, but usually people act out more in greed, or they want what someone else has and will do anything to get it (envy). Good luck with only having that in 250-300 words, haha.
