Will Americans and even most Christians accept ity/gay marriage as okay relatively soon?

I highly doubt that. Since most Americans have gorwn up in a tradition of religion, and rigid rules, then they don't want to let go of that in fear of change. And therefore, they down gay marriage because of it. Give it about fifty more years.
