What exactly makes someone "hispanic"?

How old are you? That is one of the silliest questions I have ever read on yahoo answers. I really hope your kidding. Hispanic is anyone who identifies with a latin background, especially spanish speakers. People come in all shades. For instance a person who identifies with being black may not be that dark. I take pride in the fact that I have a latin background.
