Guy advice plz?! :(?

so this guy is a player(from what i've heard), but he doesn't act like one around me, i asked him to my sadie hawkins dance, after we went to starbucks n there was this party he was gonna go to but he ended up goin to my friends house to watch a movie with me which was rli unexpected, n at the end of the night he asked for a goodnight kiss so i kissed him but i didn't make out with him to see if he would still be interested after if i didn't, that night he kept sayin that we should hang out again but the past couple weeks he's been rli confusing me, i kinda play hard to get n sometimes he acts interested n sometimes he acts like he doesn't care, but the other day he asked my friend if i was gonna be at starbucks with them so...i kinda wanna ask if he wants to hang out again but i don't wanna be too much u know? what do u think he's thinkin? n should i just walk away now before i risk getting hurt later or just go for it?
